Track and field athletics

Athletics is the first Olympic sport and encompasses a wide variety of events. From sprinting to running a marathon, and from hammer throw to pole vaulting. This sport offers you the chance to find one or more events tailored to your interests, physical build, and age. If you aren’t particularly good at sprinting, you might be good at running longer distances or perhaps javelin throwing. Push your limits and find satisfaction in measuring your performance against others your own age during competitions organized throughout the year.

Training takes place both on and off the track. In the winter, the youth train indoors.
