Welcome at GVAC

The sporty and sociable club in the Kempen region

With more than 700 members, GVAC (Groot Veldhovense Atletiek Club) is one of the larger clubs in the Kempen region. At GVAC, young and old, from 6 years old to 80+, participate in sports! The club has many expert trainers and supervisors. The club has a reputation to uphold, both in terms of sports and organization. From a sporting perspective, the club has produced many athletes who can rival the Fine Fleur in the field of athletics. Our club regularly organizes various track competitions such as the Circuit 14, Athletic Champs (pupil competition), and junior/senior competition races. For runners, GVAC organizes the Veldhoven 10 Miles and the Witven cross annually.

GVAC makes use of the Kempencampus. This beautiful sports complex is used extensively by athletes of all disciplines and at all levels: the students of Sondervick College, all GVAC athletes, but event organizers also make extensive use of the facilities, such as during the last “Samenloop voor Hoop”, the fundraising project for cancer patients and their loved ones!

If you are interested in joining us for a workout, please come visit GVAC! We offer a suitable sport for everyone, such as recreational running, competitive athletics, various walking groups, and much more! Take a quick look at our website for all information about our club and the opportunities we offer you.

We try to handle personal information with the utmost care. However, should you see any information or photos on this website that bother you, please let us know via info@gvac.nl.

First Aid at GVAC

GVAC has its own team of First Aid providers, the GVAC First Aid Team. They provide First Aid whenever possible at the competitions and events organized by GVAC. As GVAC, we are very proud that we have been able to ensure safe and responsible activities in this way for years. Every year, CPR training is provided for this team to ensure their knowledge remains up to date.

Members who wish to sign up for the official First Aid course can register. Members who already hold a First Aid diploma can also join us.

The training costs are covered by GVAC.

You can register for this course or request more information by sending an email to ehbo@gvac.nl. The coordinator will answer all your questions.
